The ability to retract and withdraw a message that was erroneously sent can be a valuable feature which could even become a standard within the mobile messaging industry.

Kirusa, a global leader in telecom and social media solutions, has launched the first-ever withdrawal feature in its InstaVoice App. InstaVoice helps mobile users receive their Missed Calls and Voicemails in a chat-like interface and reply back to the sender with voice, text or picture messages, even if the sender does not have this app.

InstaVoice is the only app that allows users to view outgoing voicemail messages, a patent-pending innovation from Kirusa. Withdrawing of messages is another innovation (patent-pending), which allows an InstaVoice user to withdraw outgoing voicemails, text or picture messages instantly, in a simple, user-friendly manner.

InstaVoice users can review their sent messages anytime via the app and withdraw them anytime, even if the receiver has heard them, giving complete flexibility to the sender of the messages. As soon as the user selects the withdraw option, the message is permanently removed from both sender’s and recipient’s devices, even if the message was sent to a group.

Kirusa has added this pioneering enhancement to its InstaVoice service, to improve the user experience significantly for voicemail users. The service works for smartphone users on iOS, Android, and Windows platforms via an App, as well as for feature phone users via SMS and IVR. It is used by over 100 million monthly active users, making it the only missed call and voicemail service that offers a seamless experience to all mobile users.

“I believe that Kirusa's withdraw feature is an innovative milestone in the mobile services market and represents fresh thinking for the voicemail segment. Millennials are accustomed to more visual interfaces summarizing their interaction with various contacts, and this rapid style of communication can often lead to missteps. Hence, the ability to retract and withdraw a message that was erroneously sent can be a valuable feature which could even become a standard within the mobile messaging industry. Kirusa's feature allows users of its client application to withdraw messages from any point of time in history and represents a quantum leap from traditional voicemail systems," says Ronald Gruia, Director - Emerging Telecoms, ICT Practice, Frost & Sullivan.

“We constantly strive to improve the user experience for customers. Innovations such as ‘viewing sent voicemails’ and ‘withdrawal of messages’ are features in our InstaVoice App that help users to manage their outgoing voicemails, text & picture messages. The withdraw feature helps users to undo the mistake of sending a wrong voicemail or to the wrong recipient, and to safeguard one’s information,” says Dr. Inderpal Singh Mumick, Founder and CEO of Kirusa.
