Vector Marketing Denver Office Becomes First in Company History to Reach Record $3 Million in Sales

The South Denver District Office of Vector Marketing is the first in company history to reach $3 million in sales in a single year.

In December 2015, the South Denver District Office of Vector Marketing was the first in company history to reach $3 million in sales in a single year. Vector Marketing is the marketing and sales arm of Cutco Cutlery, a 65-year-old company based in Olean, New York. The South Denver District Office is part of Vector’s Rocky Mountain Division, led by division manager Drew Frank.

"This ranks as one of the most significant achievements in company history," said Bruce Goodman, president of Vector Marketing Corporation. "Drew has inspired an entire generation of Vector managers to reach for what was once thought to be impossible."

Drew Frank graduated from Pennsylvania State University and majored in management and international business. He started working for Vector Marketing in 2003 and held a number of titles before being promoted to division manager in 2010. He is a member of the Cutco Cutlery Hall of Fame, with career sales topping $40 million. In his role as division manager, he oversees 28 Vector offices across Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming and Texas.

Every Cutco sales professional in the South Denver District Office grew their sales in 2015. Its team includes a pilot sales manager, 10 assistant managers, 8 full-time Cutco sales professionals, and more than 200 high school and college student sales representatives. Frank said that outstanding individual performances coupled with a strong culture of motivation, competitive spirit, and teamwork led to the sales record. It was a “perfect storm,” he said.

Vector Marketing provides a career opportunity for young professionals and students to develop valuable skills that carry on to the next stages of their careers. “We've always had incredible programs and a great opportunity for young people to excel in sales and development. But this year, we had the right group of reps and an incredible leadership staff,” said Frank. “Although my name goes on the trophy, it was a complete team effort. Enjoying this victory as a team is special because I know what went into this achievement for the past 365 days.”
