The key common denominator driving these organizations’ success is their Entrepreneurs’ Organization membership. Mathews attributes much of his success to his EO membership having recently stated, “EO has been a platform that has allowed me to meet some exceptional business leaders in Southeast MI and also globally. EO's vision aligns with my mine and has been a solid platform during my entrepreneurial journey.”
The old adage, “You’re a product of your environment, surround yourself with the best,” definitely applies to all EO Detroit members. Founded in 1997, Diversified Industrial Staffing of Troy, MI is another great example having been named to the prestigious Inc. 5000 list six times in previous years. When asked how he was able to attain repeated rankings, Palmer stated, "My involvement with EO Detroit was crucial to allowing our firm to make the Inc. 5000 six times in seven years. By learning from my peers, I have strategically taken our firm in a bold direction that caused the rapid growth we have enjoyed."
A veritable formula of fortune, one of the critical success factors from which EO Detroit members benefit is their participation in EO forums which fosters peer-to-peer sharing between members in a trusted and confidential environment. Forum enables members to extract entrepreneurial expertise from proven, powerful players they would not have the opportunity to obtain otherwise. Unlike most entrepreneurial mentorship programs, EO forums extend beyond business by enabling entrepreneurs to navigate the intersections between business, personal life and community engagement which enables members to attain fulfillment in all of their endeavors.
Another way EO Detroit provides value to its members is by partnering with reputable organizations that are aligned with its mission to engage leading entrepreneurs to learn and grow. Partners receive exclusive access to EO’s champion network of cutting-edge entrepreneurs in exchange for monetary support and in-kind contributions for the chapter’s events.
