Honey Lake Resort Re-Launches with an Eye Towards the Brides
Greenville, FL (PRWEB) May 04, 2016 -- After months of planning, Honey Lake Resort (formerly Honey Lake Plantation Resort and Spa) announced today that it is re-launching with new owners, a new name, but the same natural beauty it’s always had. Situated on 644 acres 50 miles east of Tallahassee, Honey Lake Resort features old Florida charm in every building on its 52 developed acres. Jon Kohler, a real estate broker representing former owner Bob Williamson, completed the sale in March of 2016. Since then, the resort has been refreshed and is now re-launching operations.
With her new husband Paul Tompkins as General Manager, Kelsey Tompkins takes the reigns as the Event Sales Coordinator and leads most of the day-to-day guest operations at Honey Lake. “I am thrilled to be here and to help our guests enjoy all we have to offer,” she says. “People fall in love with Honey Lake Resort at first sight. As a new bride myself, I’m aware of what our brides are looking for and I strive to make the dreams of that special day become a reality. My job is to keep that loving feeling going for our guests during their stay and beyond.”
Kelsey is a former Miss Jacksonville Beach, a title she won in 2015. “A big part of serving as Miss Jacksonville Beach is the service to the community. That civic duty and making a deeper connection with all our guests is a big part of how the new Honey Lake Resort sees itself as part of our commitment to the region,” says Kelsey.
According to Paul Tompkins, “We are all about weddings, events, and retreats, and making everyone’s time here unforgettable.” The site contains five different lodging options, meeting halls, numerous indoor and outdoor activities, and of course, views of the 80-acre, spring-fed Honey Lake.
