Nashville, TN (PRWEB) July 22, 2016 -- Richard S. Busch, the Head of King & Ballow's Entertainment and Intellectual Property Litigation Section, was named last week, by Billboard Magazine, as one of the top attorneys in the music industry for 2016. Mr. Busch was also named to the same Billboard list in 2015, and has been a regular honoree on The Hollywood Reporter's annual Power Lawyer list. Examples of Mr. Busch's notable cases include:

(2) The "Blurred Lines" copyright infringement case that resulted in a $7.3 million jury verdict on behalf of the family of Marvin Gaye against Pharrell Williams, Robin Thicke, and others (United States District Court Central District of California, Western Division, Case No. – CV 13-06004-JAK (AGRx)). Mr. Busch has recently taken on another copyright infringement case against Ed Sheeran and others related to the alleged use of his client's music in the hit song "Photograph" (United States District Court Central District of California, Southern Division, Case No. – 8:16-cv-01062).
