Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C. Announces Law School Diversity Scholarship
Southfield, Michigan (PRWEB) September 10, 2015 -- Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C. is pleased to announce its third annual Law School Diversity Scholarship! The scholarship opportunity is open to all law students within the United States and will award one deserving applicant with $2,000.00 to be used toward tuition and related school expenses.
Students are asked to submit an application, official transcript, and a one page typed essay describing how they have utilized their time to promote ethnic diversity within their community. Alternatively, students may choose to write about how they will use their law degree to promote ethnic diversity in the future. Further details and a link to the application can be found on the scholarship's web page.
"Our diversity scholarships provide needed financial assistance to exceptional law students throughout the United States. The quality of the applicants every year is really astounding," says Attorney and Founder Lawrence J. Buckfire.
Last year's scholarship winner, Shoshana Brown of City University of New York Law School, demonstrated a commitment to honoring diversity at her university by volunteering her time with organizations that helped underprivileged youth in Brooklyn understand the importance of an education.
The deadline to apply for the Law Diversity Scholarship is April 1, 2016. The winner of the award will be announced on June 1, 2016 and a check will be made payable to the winning student's university for tuition and other school related expenses.
