WSO2 Technical Lead to Conduct Workshop on Overcoming the Challenges of IoT Analytics at Structure Data 2016
Mountain View, CA (PRWEB) March 02, 2016 -- Increasingly, the Internet of Things (IoT) is everywhere, affecting how we work, travel, and play. However, the value of IoT devices to a business is only as good as the ability to collect, analyze and apply the data produced by them. At a Structure Data 2016 workshop, WSO2 technical lead Sriskandarajah (Suho) Suhothayan will examine how to overcome the challenges to collecting timely, meaningful IoT data via real-time and batch processes, as well as apply the information to predictive analytics.

Big Data Analytics in IoT
Suho will begin the conference workshop with an overview of IoT data collection challenges. He then will dive into technical approaches for addressing edge analytics, handling uncertainty, out of order event processing, time series analysis, and other requirements for handling IoT data. Suho also will explore how IoT data can be used to understand the world while proactively identifying opportunities and threats. Additionally, he will discuss how WSO2’s technology can be used to transform IoT data into valuable business insights.
The session, “WSO2 Sponsor Workshop: Sensing the World With Data of Things,” will be held 1:15–2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, in Room 1.
About the Presenter
Sriskandarajah Suhothayan is a technical lead at WSO2, where he spearheads the WSO2 Complex Event Processor team and works with real-time event processing and parallel computing solutions. In addition to his product development efforts, he provides technology consulting on customer engagements. Suho has also published several papers and articles on real time complex event processing systems.
