Webinar will examine how organizations can efficiently adopt API management by implementing the correct solution for API-led business transformation

WSO2 delivers the only fully integrated open source enterprise middleware platform to support today’s enterprise environments—internally and across the cloud, mobile devices, and Internet of Things.

There is no single “right” way to implement an API-led architecture, and enterprises need to determine the best solution for their needs.

Application programming interfaces (APIs) are the favored approach for enterprises to expose business functionality to customers, partners, and other groups within the organization. However, there is no single “right” way to implement an API-led architecture, and enterprises need to determine the best solution for their needs. To assist these organizations, WSO2 and a featured guest speaker from Forrester Research, Inc. will conduct a webinar. The session will examine the three main types of API solutions: API gateways, API management products, and API management platforms, as well as provide guidance on how each solution addresses the business requirements enterprises face today.

Adopting an API Platform for API Management

The webinar, “API Management is not Enough: You Need an API Platform,” will be presented by Isabelle Mauny, WSO2 vice president of product management, and featured guest speaker, Randy Heffner, Forrester Research vice president and principal analyst. The session will be held Thursday, May 26, 2016, from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. PDT. Visit for more information.

The session is designed for IT professionals that implement or are planning to implement APIs in their enterprises and require guidance on forming an API management strategy. Randy will start the session by providing a clear definition for API management. He will also explain the need for a broader API platform to create and implement a successful API strategy. Isabelle will then explore WSO2 customer use cases to examine how choosing a proper API management solution can set you on the road to success for API-led business transformation.
