The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Mary Kaufman as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in public policy. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting 850,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Self-motivated, results oriented and driven to succeed, Mary Kaufman is a seasoned professional who has constantly set her goals to keep pace with her highest aspirations for personal excellence. Throughout her career, she has exhibited exemplary teamwork, expertise, integrity and dedication.

Ms. Kaufman’s professional title is MUPP at Achievable Landscapes in Planning. Her skills and areas of expertise include transportation corridor ecologies, urban planning, public involvement, transportation policy, public outreach, strategic planning, and leadership.

Aside from her career, Ms. Kaufman is currently involved with the American Planning Association and the American Society of Civil Engineers. She is interested in sustainability, health, ecology and environmental justice issues in transportation. She is continuing research in environment, sustainability, CSS / CSD using GIS and other data. Ms. Kaufman obtained a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

The unwavering dedication demonstrated by Ms. Kaufman fully utilizes the aspirations for success that have earned her this recognition from the National Association of Professional Women, honoring her as an inspiration and a leader in her industry.
