Pacific Office Automation Awarded for High School Service

On April 10 at the Holiday Inn in Wilsonville, Ore., the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) presented Pacific Office Automation (POA) with an award from the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) for outstanding service to local high schools. The OSAA nominated Pacific Office for this award because of its significant positive impact on high school activity programs.

Since its inception, POA has provided efficient office solutions, but the company prides itself on active community involvement, especially among local high schools and athletics. Partnering with schools for more than 20 years, POA continues to donate printers and copiers where they’re needed in high schools and related organizations, in addition to providing office supplies and financial assistance.

The company has also been a longstanding partner with the OSAA. For as long as Pacific Office has worked with high schools, it has generously donated at least one copy machine each year to be used at state championship events. Additionally, POA supports local high schools through funding for school and league websites and printing event programs.

This is the first outstanding service award POA has received from the NFHS. Upon receiving the award, Pacific Office Automation president Doug Pitassi said, “POA appreciates community building, and the NFHS does this so well with its support for positive experiences for youth. We love contributing to such a wonderful organization. It’s a perfect pairing.”
