Harbor Retirement Associates (HRA), a regional senior living development and operating company based in Vero Beach, Fla., continues its strategic expansion by opening four new communities this year with 13 more in the works. New planned communities in Delaware, New Jersey and Washington DC will expand HRA’s geographic footprint and add to its diverse portfolio of senior living communities. All the new construction and community openings represent a large expansion of the growing senior living company.

“We’re excited to continue rolling out our distinctive brand of senior living to new cities and markets,” said Tim Smick, CEO of Harbor Retirement Associates. “This latest expansion demonstrates our commitment to offering the very best in senior living to families across the country. HRA is committed to anticipating the needs of a new generation of seniors, with innovation being a recurring theme in all community designs. All communities will feature HRA’s signature Life Enrichment Program, designed to provide social, devotional, fitness and recreational opportunities that have a positive impact on residents. Additionally, there is a strong emphasis on the company’s core values, viewed as the cornerstones of the organization.

“Our core values of respect, attentiveness, integrity, stewardship and excellence have guided this company from the beginning,” said Smick. “Our first priority is the make life engaging, enjoyable and active for our residents.”
