The KDC270, our most rugged yet compact bluetooth barcode scanner, will allow any business to increase productivity, improve efficiency, and eliminate waste.

KOAMTAC®, Inc., a leading manufacturer of Bluetooth barcode scanners and mobile point of sale companions, will be showcasing the next generation companion scanner and data collector at the National Retail Federation’s Big Show (NRF17) held January 15-17 in New York City. The new KDC270 has been created as an answer to the market’s need for more compact and rugged devices for collecting barcode data paired with a smart device as it is water and dust resistant and can withstand a drop of up to five (5) feet.

The KDC270 is a next generation barcode scanner with cutting-edge CCD, Laser, and Imager scan engines available. This new scanner features a clean design, vibration setting to enhance silent mode, and a wider range of operating and storage temperatures than older KDC models. Five (5) power stages allow for extended operating time of up to several weeks once fully charged; a backup battery allows seamless real-time clock operation. The KDC270 comes with 8MB memory allowing for more than 400,000 UPC product barcodes in data collection mode or more than 60,000 records in database mode. The KDC270 comes in Bluetooth HID, SPP, and MFi modes as well as USB HID mode allowing for connection to any smart device.
