Dr. Natalie Forest, Executive Director of the Women of Global Change, attends as Atlanta hosts “The President Barack Obama Lifetime Achievement Awards 2017” highlighting and honoring those that have made service a key element in their lives.

"...we believe in the idea that our community needs to come together again and that we can help create that atmosphere through example,” states Dr. Natalie Forest

This year Kenneth L. Gray, CEO and Founder of Dominant Force and Kennergy United is being honored. “The President’s Lifetime Achievement Award is for these Leaders who have contributed more than 400 hours of volunteer serve in their lifetime." With his focus on homeless students and ready to launch the Atlanta Initiative, the “World Coach” Gray has been on the forefront of service for most of his life.

“Kenneth Gray is one of the rare individuals who is fully committed to the idea that “we can help each other,” which is why he has dedicated his life to creating an organization that serves as a vessel towards the goals and dreams for all those ready to move forward. Being able to collaborate and support Kenneth is a true honor, especially because we believe in the idea that our community needs to come together again and that we can help create that atmosphere through example,” states Dr. Natalie Forest, who had first met Mr. Gray in 2015 and was able to share some insights with him that led him to concentrate parts of “Dominant Force” in Atlanta before bringing it back to Maryland.

Dr. Forest will be attending the ceremony to stand by her friend and collaborator on January 18th. Focusing on improving communities in the U.S. and worldwide is a key aspect of what she has been working on for years, with her own business and as Executive Director for The Women of Global Change. This year, in addition to taking on a bigger role with Dominant Force to better support Mr. Gray and the mission across the U.S., Dr. Natalie is also launching her own non-profit, which will also focus on “children first.” This common thread is what connects Dr. Forest and Mr. Gray in more ways than one as they join to take action in being of service and inspiring others to join in so that 2017 will be the year of service to those in need.
