The new Stainless Steel Barrel and Beer Keg Lifter from Packline is the ideal solution to increase efficiency and improve health and safety conditions.
(PRWEB) February 13, 2017
The keg and barrel lifting equipment has been designed to provide the safe and easy lifting and controlled movement of barrels and kegs of beer or other beverages.
This handling solution is designed to lift kegs of beer in the horizontal from the floor or a pallet up to and onto a storage frame.
This stainless-steel handling equipment, with electric lift, replaces an un-hygienic manual mechanism. This lifting solution is suitable for clean room environments.
The barrel is securely retained by a lug and cantilever arrangement which locates into the rim and supports the end of the barrel. This feature provides a swift and easy docking that provides safe, reliable transportation. This design allows kegs with a central tap hole to be lifted.
This lifting machine raises and lowers the barrel or keg by powered drive and this is operated by simple up and down buttons which are located ergonomically on the machines handle bars.
The design offers strength and durability with ease of operating and is entirely suitable for the beverages and food industries and other hygienic applications as the solution is manufactured in stainless steel.
The attachment is backed up by a full bespoke design service ensuring the right solution can be made to suit any make or size of barrel.
All Packline attachments are fully interchangeable and can be easily fixed or removed from any model of ‘Compac’ lifting machine that is fitted with the quick release system.
Attachment Lift Capacity: 60kg / 132.28lbs (maximum) load.
Centre of Gravity: 291mm / 11.46 inches (from column).
Attachment Mass: 13kg / 28.66lbs.
Main Materials: Stainless Steel 304.
Ideally suited for clean room environments, the stainless steel barrel and keg handling equipment is suitable for use in the following industries:
- Drinks and Beverages
- FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods)
The purpose-designed compact framework, positioning of handlebars and addition of an optional remote control device provide improved manoeuvrability and ease of use for the operator. The small footprint makes this handling equipment highly manoeuvrable and a natural choice for narrow production lines and demanding lifting requirements.
