Click Up, Palo Alto Startup, Adds Major Features to Their Project Management Platform

ClickUp has integrated new functionality into their project management product.

The new features aim to help designers and design teams with the complex process of putting together image mockups and working with a team to provide structured feedback.

To solve this problem, Click Up has built their system so that when images are added, you are prompted to add comments or mockup the image if necessary.

Another common action taken by design teams is to screenshots on their computers and add comments or markup so that it can be used as an effective reference.

Click Up allows users to do this within their own system, simplifying the process and reducing the number of steps required.

The startup is also offering their users a Chrome extension for taking screenshots which can be funnelled directly into a task.

In addition to this, ClickUp has built the functionality needed to create image mockups and markups without a separate platform.

“Most teams we’ve worked with were using Invision previously. We put together a system for creating mockups and leveraged some of ClickUp’s other feature so that there were some extra benefits and before long those users became avid users of the new functionality,” said Alexandra Bethea, a representative from ClickUp.

The team holds a strong conviction that focusing on the problems faced by design teams they can create considerable value for a market that lacks adequate solutions.

Zeb Evans, the CEO of ClickUp, added, “[With] any product you want to make something that resonates with a real need. If there’s already a great option, it’s going to be really hard to get people using your product. We think that design teams lack a great option for what they need to do on a day-to-day basis, and we think we can help.”
