ClickUp is Project Management for Teams that Care About Design

Click Up has officially launched a suite of new features for their project management app.

The latest round of features focus on designers and design teams and hope to address some unseen problems that have gone unaddressed for years.

“When people don’t see a better way of doing something, it seems perfectly natural things are the way they are. You have to show people how you have something that’s a bit different and that it can help them by doing X, Y, and Z,” said Chris Cunningham from ClickUp.

They are hoping that the new features will do the trick and help lure design teams away from their current project management system to ClickUp.

Cunningham elaborated, “People underestimate the benefits you get from having everything working together naturally within the same system. It helps every feature work smoothly and consistently which means users are never thinking about whether they might end up wasting their time.”

As a result of focusing on designers and design teams, much of the latest functionality focuses on images and image editing.

Click Up lets you add images and easily add comments or mockup without any design skills. This is meant to enable project managers and simplify work for designers.

Screenshots can also now be done in ClickUp, making it easy to capture ideas on the fly. With the ClickUp Chrome Extension, you can even capture images and import them directly into relevant tasks.
