Nutritional Products International (NPI) celebrated the birthday of its CEO and founder Mitch Gould February 18 with a party attended by friends, family, professional athletes, celebrities and the company’s entire board of directors.

The celebration at the Waldorf Astoria in Boca Raton featured members of the NPI board, including Medical Advisor Dr. Joseph Purita, Nutrition Expert Reid Eckert, renowned physician Dr. Jonathan Berger. Neuromuscular Therapist Dr. Vincent Aquilino, a key advisor to the Miami Heat, was also in attendance. Other members of the Board such as Roberto Clemente, Jr. and Nick Ruggiero of the NHL’s Florida Panthers were not able to attend the function.

Gould will cap off his birthday celebration on Friday with a friendly tennis match against the legendary Jimmy Connors at the resort.

“This was truly a birthday to remember and it was such a fantastic experience to see all my family members, friends, colleagues and business partners in one place, having a great time,” said Gould. “Day-to-day life in a constantly growing business can be hectic, and so this event was a nice way to take a time out and celebrate all we have accomplished on behalf of our clients. I would like to personally thank everyone who came out and took part with us.”

Gould, known globally for developing the “Evolution of Distribution,” is a third-generation retail distribution and manufacturing professional who has worked with many of the world’s most recognized brands. He has also partnered with the likes of Hulk Hogan, eight-time Mr. Olympian Ronnie Coleman, action star Steven Seagal and UFC’s Chuck Liddell.

With NPI, Gould and his team deliver proven sales, marketing and distribution solutions for global brands looking to find success in the United States—the world’s most prolific retail market. Working alongside Mitch at NPI are his two sons, Brian and Scott, and his wife, Sherry.

Over the years, Gould has launched a wide range of products from concept to shelf, with numerous brands featured in high-profile media like Maxim, Newsweek, People, Sports Illustrated, Time, US Magazine and U.S. News & World Report.

“This has been a wonderful time to reflect on what’s been an exciting journey so far, and I am looking forward to some fantastic years to come working with the excellent team and board of directors we’ve assembled at NPI,” Gould said. “As time goes on, we will continue to innovate in what has been a challenging and ever-evolving market.”
