In the book, Fergus attempts to change the education system with his psychological studies. When he meets Sarah, the daughter of a Scottish minister of the kirk, their relationships unfold and their lives change due to several difficult factors. When they learn of a new school of thought and begin to harness the power of positive thought, they realize they can accomplish anything in life.
Bisbey’s background as a teacher and a quantum mechanics student has allowed her to give a unique perspective on these issues. “Reading about quantum mechanics makes me joyful. About the author
Most of Jean Bisbey’s life has been spent asking awkward questions in the hope of finding credible answers. Her short acquaintance with quantum mechanics has helped her think of ways to ensure a happier life despite its burdens. After a fruitful career, she then returned to Scotland and college to qualify for this and concluded her teaching career as deputy head in a large primary school in the West Midlands. While living in Edinburgh, she became involved in theosophy and enjoyed a short spell as honorary librarian in the Theosophical library there.
