Larry Blevins, a devoted Christian and author, has completed his new book “Biblical Puzzles”: a diverting series of puzzles that use a wealth of biblical terms to provide an experience that is both stimulating and stress-relieving.
In January 2006, Larry Blevins suffered a stroke. While in the hospital, the doctors informed him that he also had a minor case of Parkinson’s, as well as Sugar Diabetes. He didn’t have any feeling on the right side of his body at the time. The doctors believed he was not going to make it through the week; and if he did, he would be spending the rest of his life in a wheelchair.
God had other plans for him, however. That night, two angels visited Larry explaining that God was not done with him. God had work for him, and he would recover very soon. The next morning, his pastor came and confirmed what the angels had said—that he would recover.
Three months later, Larry left the hospital in a wheelchair, still without feeling on his right side. He kept his faith and prayed, remembering what the angels and his pastor had said, and four months later, came out of the wheelchair. Since then, he has learned to use his left hand, which he used to write this book. With God’s love and Christian prayers, he has a new life!
