Dr. Kevin Sadati Selected for AACS Facial Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship Committee
Newport Beach, CA (PRWEB) April 03, 2017 -- The 2017 Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery took place in February in San Diego. During the event, 800 cosmetic surgery professionals and supporters gathered together to hear enlightening keynote presentations and enjoy ground-breaking didactic sessions on the latest techniques and procedures in the field of cosmetic surgery. Since 1985, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery has grown into the leading educational provider for cosmetic surgery practitioners. The association offers information on a diverse array of medical specialties, including dermatology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, otolaryngology, general surgery, ophthalmology, and plastic and reconstructive surgery. Comprised of over 1,600 members, AACS is “the most trusted resource for patient safety through cosmetic surgery education.”
Dr. Kevin Sadati, a leading facial and reconstructive surgeon, was one of the members who attended this year’s AACS meeting. Dr. Sadati is often invited to attend and even speak at conferences across the cosmetic surgery industry. This is because Dr. Sadati has pioneered a number of new techniques that improve the process and results of many traditional cosmetic procedures. One such technique is fat grafting using platelet rich plasma (PRP). Dr. Sadati is considered an expert in the field of fat grafting. “By using a patient’s own fatty tissue with PRP (platelet rich plasma), I am able to enhance facial features, or other parts of the body that the patient desires. The result is a fuller and more youthful-looking target area,” Dr. Sadati stated. Unlike many other enhancement options, Dr. Sadati’s fat grafting with PRP technique offers patients a permanent solution.
Another technique Dr. Sadati created and pioneered is the Double C Plication. This unique procedure offers patients with natural-looking and long-lasting results in the neck and face area. “This procedure is ideal for patients who are just entering middle age and beginning to show the tale-tale signs of aging, including excess skin in the lower part of the face, neckline and/or cheeks,” Dr. Sadati explained. “As a person ages, the skin becomes less firm and full, causing it to sag. This sagging can visually age a person beyond their years. With the Double C Plication, these issues can be resolved with minimal effort, discomfort, and recovery time.” This procedure, like many of Dr. Sadati’s other procedures, is performed with the use of local anesthesia and twilight sedation.
Dr. Sadati, a highly specialized and experienced facial plastic surgeon, performs a wide range of invasive and noninvasive cosmetic procedures at his practice, the Gallery of Cosmetic Surgery. As a diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and a board certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and otolaryngology/head and neck surgeon, Dr. Sadati has the expertise and skill set to help patients achieve the youthful look they seek.
