SAE International Announces Changes to Fellow Grade Nomination Criteria
(PRWEB) March 13, 2017 -- SAE International announces eligibility changes to nominate professionals for its highest membership honor, SAE Fellow Grade.
The purpose of the changes is to reach out to a larger field of candidates with broader and more diverse backgrounds, thereby strengthening the prestigious Fellow grade.
Applications can now be considered for review by the SAE Fellows Committee if candidates have two (2) full years of membership completed at the time of application plus at least 10 years of volunteer service that provided outstanding support for SAE activities.
Deadline to nominate someone for SAE Fellow is Sunday, July 2. For more information or the view the nomination information, CLICK HERE.
The highest grade of membership, SAE Fellow Grade recognizes and honors members who have made a significant impact on society's mobility technology through leadership, research, and innovation. Established in 1975, the grade of Fellow is administered by the SAE Fellow Committee. Election to Fellow is an exceptional professional distinction bestowed on around 20 recipients each year. The SAE Board of Directors oversees the Fellows program and approves the nominations submitted by the Fellows Committee.
