When D.M. Donovan would take her precious dog, Angel, for a walk on the beaches of Kauai, celebrities and tourists complimented her lavishly. One day, someone mentioned Angel should be in pictures, which inspired Donovan’s picture book.

“Angel in Paradise" features the happy puppy’s thrilling island adventure. In this children’s tale, readers will enjoy the beautiful illustrations when they join Angel on her journey where she learns valuable lessons on land and at sea.

About the author
D.M. Donovan earned a Bachelor of Science in Painting from Finch College and a master's degree in Special Education from the Bank Street College of Education. She has studied painting in a variety of forms in both the United States and Europe. Donovan currently resides with her dogs, Angel and Bruiser, in Kauai, Hawaii.
