Of the 18 four-year schools that made the list, George Mason University, University of Virginia, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Virginia Commonwealth University and Hampton University took the top five spots. Of the 16 two-year colleges that also made the list, Tidewater Community College, Southwest Virginia Community College, Central Virginia Community College, Northern Virginia Community College and Piedmont Virginia Community College were top schools.
