Lowell Men's Haberdashery company Faburiq has joined the IM Boston Marketplace and brought it's unique take on modern accessories with it.

Faburiq: Men's Haberdashery & Modern Accessories

Things of quality have no fear of time. That’s what our philosophy is. We may produce less to support the lost art and skilled tailoring of the makers but our accessories have a beauty and an aesthetic that is distinct, almost like a pleasant surprise.

IM Boston strives to incorporate the different stories and backgrounds of the people and businesses of New England in their online magazine and marketplace. Their most recent addition to the IM Boston Marketplace, Faburiq, brings eastern traditions to the modern western market.

Faburiq is an online men's Haberdashery and modern accessories store that takes its inspiration from heritage Japanese prints and fabrics. The designer, Aruña, drew inspiration from her travels and her personal life to bring Faburiq to life. Her pieces include bow ties, pocket squares and ties that are 100% hand-made and unique. Every inch of the fabric bolt is used and once completed no piece will ever be made with the same fabric again. They use a variety of Japanese silks, wool and cotton for creating the accessories and are either finished by hand-rolled silk edges or hand-finished baby hems.

Aruña had this to say about her designs: "Things of quality have no fear of time. That’s what our philosophy is. We may produce less to support the lost art and skilled tailoring of the makers but our accessories have a beauty and an aesthetic that is distinct, almost like a pleasant surprise."

In the same way that IM Boston looks to support local businesses, so does Faburiq. They have partnered with local garment businesses for manufacturing. Faburiq combines the history of Lowell's textile mills with that of the Japanese kimono fabrics which makes each piece truly special: "Faburiq prides itself in giving these kimono fabrics a new life with a modern twist."

“We’re very excited to have Faburiq join the IM Boston Marketplace. We found her pieces truly one-of-a-kind and statement-worthy.” Said Stefanie Daneau, Founder of IM Boston. “IM Boston marketplace is a combination of unique, high-end pieces from many local designers that are uplifting and inspiring. We felt that Aruña’s accessories line was just the thing to add to our growing list of amazing products offered on our site.”

Each product is meant to be both functional and transitional, meaning you can wear it to work and later to dinner or drinks. No matter the setting "with Faburiq, you are always chic and fit for the occasion." If you are looking for a new, exquisite addition to your wardrobe one of Faburiq's creations is the perfect choice.
