Lansing Facial Plastic Surgery Offers Complimentary Facial Rejuvenation Session

Part of the hospital’s regular community outreach series, Dr. Sufyan lectured attendees on the newest facial rejuvenation techniques. This collaborative offering was part of Dr. Sufyan’s commitment to educating members of the local community about skin health and their restorative options.
McLaren Hospital was founded in 1913 in Lansing, Michigan. Over the years, McLaren has grown from a small hospital to a full service medical facility. Today, the hospital includes a breast care center, wound care center, pain management center, pediatric hospital, and more than 30 affiliated practices and teaching clinics. In an informative meeting, targeting consumers of all ages, Dr. Sufyan spoke about both the traditional and cutting-edge trends in facial rejuvenation. His presentation included an explanation of the normal aging process and the effect it has on facial tissues. Dr. Sufyan reviewed skin changes due to sun damage and other environmental factors, such as smoking and illness. He concluded with a discussion of methods to prevent tissue damage, as well as the innovative range of treatment options available today. At the end of his presentation, Dr. Sufyan was available to address attendee’s questions and concerns.
Dr. Sufyan is a facial plastic surgeon and ENT, born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan. After graduating in the top 1% of his class at Wayne State University, Dr. Sufyan completed medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He then went on to excel at a competitive Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency at Indiana University. Following his passion for aesthetics, Dr. Sufyan completed one of the most sought-after fellowship programs in the country in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, under the guidance of the current president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Edwin Williams III, MD, FACS.
