Glenn Llopis Group Named a Recertification Provider for SHRM-CP® and SHRM-SCP® HR Credentials
Rancho Santa Margarita, CA (PRWEB) April 17, 2017 -- As a member of the SHRM Recertification Provider network, Glenn Llopis Group will be able to award professional development credits (PDCs) for its programs that relate to the SHRM Body of Competency and Knowledge (SHRM BoCK™).
“The Society for Human Resource Management welcomes the opportunity to partner with Glenn Llopis Group to provide quality educational opportunities to support the recertification efforts of HR professionals who have obtained their SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certifications,” said Alex Alonso, SHRM’s senior vice president of knowledge development and certification.
“We are honored to have been selected as a SHRM recertification provider and affiliated with SHRM’s rich history and legacy as the leader in providing world class tools and resources to HR professionals,” said Glenn Llopis, Author of The Innovation Mentality and Chairman/CEO of GLG. “With the speed of enterprise change, the transformation of the HR profession will be one of the most critical functional overhauls for their organizations to grow and evolve – and we are excited to provide the curriculum that is focused on inclusive leadership to support this transformation.”
SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP exams were launched in 2015 after years of research to define the behavioral competencies and knowledge relevant to today’s global HR professional. The SHRM BoCK is the framework for the certification exams.
In two years, SHRM certification has become the premier professional certification in the human resources field with more than 100,000 certificants in 105 countries.
SHRM’s certifications, the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP, are accredited by The Buros Center for Testing, the world’s premier test review center. Once certified, HR professionals have the opportunity to earn PDCs from more than 40,000 educational programs, offered by more than 2,000 Recertification Providers. A mobile app and other tools make the recertification process simple and efficient.
According to GLG, HR professionals and their businesses are faced with daily uncertainty and disruption to their workplaces and their organizations’ marketplaces. Much of the disruption has come as culturally diverse segments of the U.S. population have reached critical mass, which is what GLG calls the Cultural Demographic Shift™. This shift has resulted in huge strategic implications for businesses in all industries in managing human capital, strategic alliances, client relationships, and other factors that drive growth. As such GLG will provide the following courses that will include (but not limited it): Inclusive Leadership, Leading Diversity and Inclusion as a Growth Strategy, Discover Your Leadership Impact and Influence, Leading Hispanic Employees (for non-Hispanic Supervisors).
