Mobile CT and C-Arm rentals aren’t something that receive the spotlight too often, but they deserve to be thoroughly considered because of their numerous financial and clinical benefits.

The imaging trailer renovation is tackled by professionals who are experts in Mobile CT and C-Arm installations and overall maintenance, some of whom have been with Amber for many years. Says Burak Ozmeteler, a refurbishment expert who’s been with Amber for over 15 years, “Mobile CT and C-Arm rentals aren’t something that receive the spotlight too often, but they deserve to be thoroughly considered because of their numerous
financial and clinical benefits.” Benefits include being a preliminary test for a medical facility that’s just beginning to see patients and has still not determined what that patient flow will be, offering a “trial run” that can help the healthcare professional see if purchasing the imaging equipment is right for them, and if their patient volume will support the expenses compared to buying the equipment outright; and offering a way to generate income when an existing system has time consuming service related issues.
While CT Scanners are delivered in state of the art CT Trailers, the Mobile C-Arms, on the other hand, are not available in trailers; but are instead used within a facility. Presently Amber offers OEC 9600’s, 9800’s, and 9900’s.
As for the Mobile CT trailer itself, each one is reconditioned to operate and look brand new. The interior is illuminated and designed to be calming and appealing to patients. The medical components are the same of a fixed CT scanner.
