Koeppel Subaru Donates Over $40,000 To Support Autism Services in April 2017
(PRWEB) April 21, 2017 -- Koeppel Subaru, in a partnership effort with Subaru Inc. during the Subaru Share the Love Event, presented a $41,488 check to Quality Services for the Autism Community (QSAC) on April 6. The donation coincides with National Autism Awareness Month in April. In recent years, Koeppel has donated over $250,000 to QSAC in an ongoing effort to support the New York community.
Howard Koeppel, owner of Koeppel Auto Group, along with Barron Butler of Subaru Distributors Corp., presented the check to Lisa Veglia, Co-Executive Director at QSAC. “It’s not always about being successful," Mr. Koeppel said. "It’s about giving back to your community. We, along with Subaru Distributors Corp, are honored and proud to support QSAC and give back to our community.”
QSAC is a New York City and Long Island-based nonprofit that supports children and adults with autism, together with their families, in achieving greater independence, realizing their future potential, and contributing to their communities in a meaningful way by offering person-centered services.
The four Koeppel auto dealerships in Queens – Koeppel Nissan and Mazda in Jackson Heights, Koeppel Subaru in Long Island City, and Koeppel Ford in Woodside – have participated in numerous community programs, events and charitable endeavors over the years.
"If you or a loved one knows of any charities or programs Koeppel Auto Group can support, please let us know,” Mr. Koeppel said. For more information about Koeppel Auto Group’s community efforts, log onto http://www.LoveOurNYC.com.
