Most Wi-Fi or Bluetooth grill controllers work locally, only while the operator remains in range. The Memphis technology allows users to monitor and adjust their grill and food temps when they’re away from the grill. They can easily check food from home, work, at the golf course, on the lake, or the car (in the passenger seat, of course). “This feature is a game changer when you are smoking different kinds of meats like ribs, brisket or pork shoulder where cooking time can take up to 20 hours”, says Rick Price, National Sales Manager at Memphis Grills.
“Gone are the days of closely monitoring your cook, the Memphis Wood Fire Grill Intelligent Temperature Control displays current grill temperature and internal temperature with the use of up to three meat probes” according to Price. Like the iOS App, the Android App comes loaded with recipes allowing users to simply insert the meat probe and select the type of protein they are cooking. The Intelligent Temperature Controller takes care of the rest, automatically cooking the food to the perfect temp and alerting users when it is finished. The grill will even automatically turn to warming mode when the meat reaches temperature, so the meat will not get over cooked.
The new Android App will enhance the experience of using the already easy to use line of grills.
