Rocky Mountain Oils Launches Industry’s First Glass Bottle Recycling Program
Orem, Utah (PRWEB) April 20, 2017 -- Rocky Mountain Oils (RMO), a non-MLM, leading producer and purveyor of 100% pure and natural essential oils is excited to announce the launch of its Glass Bottle Recycling Program.
Starting April 20, 2017, Rocky Mountain Oils invites customers to send their empty essential oil bottles, including competitor brands, back to RMO for proper disposal at a glass recycling center. The company will also recycle bottles from returned orders.
“We have a responsibility to protect the Earth that provides our essential oils,” said Scott Muir, President of Rocky Mountain Oils. “Establishing the Recycling Program is one step we’re taking to become a more environmentally sustainable business.”
If customers prefer to recycle old bottles locally to eliminate the potential environmental impact caused by shipping, RMO’s Environmental Sustainability webpage allows customers to find the nearest glass bottle recycling location.
In addition to its Glass Recycling Program, Rocky Mountain Oils recently began the process of switching over to shipping packaging made from 100% recycled material.
“As the number of packages we send around the world continues to increase, we decided to invest in eco-friendly packaging to lessen our environmental footprint,” Muir said. “We also chose to absorb the increased cost of packaging made from 100% recycled material rather than raising our prices.”
