myPotential at Home Is Now CHAP Accredited, Medicare Certified Home Health Agency
Winchester, Va. (PRWEB) April 19, 2017 -- myPotential at Home—A National Lutheran Service has received CHAP Accreditation and Medicare Certification in Virginia, allowing them to now provide Medicare reimbursable services to clients in Virginia. With the expansion of new services in the latter part of 2016, myPotential at Home submitted an application to Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP) to have a full review of their services to begin the accreditation process.
For more than fifty years, CHAP has supported community-based businesses as they pursue their health care accreditation. Through deeming authority granted by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), CHAP also has the regulatory authority to survey agencies providing home health to determine if they meet the Medicare Conditions of Participation and CMS Quality Standards. Through their partnership, myPotential at Home was able to apply, and receive certification to receive Medicare payments for reimbursable services such as physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as skilled nursing.
Backed by National Lutheran Communities & Services’ 126 years of experience, myPotential at Home offers a non-franchise option for home care and home health that works to preserve seniors’ independence while helping them reach their potential at any age and any stage. With this accreditation, myPotential at Home will be able to leverage the Standards of Excellence designed by CHAP, and deliver the highest quality care to their clients.
