Best Western Hotels & Resorts has opened an impressive new upscale hotel on the Indonesian island of Batam, just a short ferry ride from Singapore.

Best Western Premier Panbil is ideally located in Batam’s Panbil Industrial Estate, a major commercial and residential area just 14 kilometers from Hang Nadim Airport and 15 kilometers from the International Ferry Terminal.

Rising elegantly into the sky, this eye-catching hotel offers a collection of 233 contemporary rooms and suites, all of which are stylish, spacious and feature floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase stunning views of Batam and the Malacca Strait.

Guests have a wealth of facilities to enjoy during their stay, including a glorious outdoor pool, an indulgent spa and a modern fitness center. Dining at Best Western Premier Panbil is a real pleasure, with a ground floor restaurant providing local and international dishes throughout the day and a spectacular rooftop restaurant serving exquisite cuisine accompanied by panoramic vistas. For further entertainment, there is also a karaoke room.

Best Western Premier Panbil is expected to become a hub for business and social events, with extensive, cutting-edge function space including a large ballroom. Corporate guests can also take advantage of professional services at the business center, and Wi-Fi is free-of-charge throughout the hotel.

“With its close proximity to Singapore and status as a free trade zone, Batam has experienced incredible growth in recent years,” said Olivier Berrivin, Best Western’s Managing Director of International Operations - Asia. “It is now a major economic gateway to Indonesia and the broader ASEAN region, and we are delighted to be able to provide Batam’s rising number of visitors with a new international upscale hotel that showcases the very best of our brand.”

“Best Western Premier Panbil is a sleek, state-of-the-art property that exemplifies the new era of Best Western hotels in Asia. With an array of high-end amenities for both business and leisure travelers, plus outstanding conference and banqueting facilities, I am confident that Best Western Premier Panbil will become one of the island’s most sought-after hotels,” Olivier added.

Best Western now operates 15 hotels across Indonesia, including locations in Jakarta, Bali, Surabaya, Solo, Bandung, Manado, Makassar, Malang, Palu, and now, Batam.
