Lucid Software Joins AWS Marketplace to Provide Network Visualization Solutions
South Jordan, Utah (PRWEB) April 21, 2017 -- Today, Lucid Software announced that Lucidchart, the leading diagram and flowchart platform, is available directly on AWS Marketplace. Lucid Software is one of the first AWS Partner Network (APN) Partners to support SaaS Contracts on AWS Marketplace. Customers can now add Lucidchart subscriptions to their Amazon Web Services bills for a seamless experience.
The AWS Marketplace allows users to purchase Lucidchart as a monthly, yearly, or multi-year subscription with automatic renewal. Customers have the flexibility to select subscription terms that best fit the needs of their businesses, and they can save money by purchasing subscriptions with a longer duration.
This announcement follows the company’s initiative to help AWS users document their networks. Last year, Lucid Software developed an AWS import tool that allows users to quickly and easily diagram their AWS infrastructure, including metadata of components, using AWS APIs. Lucidchart continually releases new iterations of its AWS import tool to ensure optimal functionality.

For the import to work, Lucidchart queries the AWS console for a description of the customer’s infrastructure and networking rules without actually touching the infrastructure. Imported data includes the appropriate shape type and name, relationships between components, and metadata. When users need to draw a network, they can simply drag the desired components to the canvas and click a node to reveal all its connected components. Users no longer need to manually draw their networks or worry about human error as they attempt to portray the network. Plus, all the benefits of Lucidchart are available for easy collaboration, sharing, and integrating with other platforms.
