MorganFranklin Consulting, a leading management and technology consulting firm, announced today the appointment of five new Managing Directors. The Company promoted Chris Clapp, Ian Cooper, Wendy Morris, and Ashish Patel to the Managing Director role. In addition, the firm welcomed Priya Mhatre as a Managing Director.

Chris Clapp brings over 10 years of experience helping private equity and venture capital backed companies mature their finance function and execute strategic transactions. In his new role, he will leverage this experience to further develop the firm’s comprehensive solution offering in this practice area. In addition, Clapp will focus on continuing to expand MorganFranklin’s growing market presence in New York City as well as the broader northeast area.

Ian Cooper brings over 20 years of experience in strategy, finance, business transformation, IT, and complex program management. In his new role, Cooper will help organizations achieve their business objectives by driving value across finance, operations, and technology. In addition, he will continue to focus on expanding MorganFranklin’s growing market presence in Atlanta.

Priya Mhatre joined MorganFranklin in March and brings her passion for data enabled technology innovation. In her new role, Ms. Mhatre will focus on the firm’s information management and technology portfolio in the Public Sector as well as contribute to key marketplace partnerships such as the Data Coalition. Mhatre will also serve as a key executive champion for MorganFranklin’s Women’s Initiative program.

Wendy Morris applies over 24 years of experience in consulting and her deep expertise in financial management and internal controls to lead all aspects of the Federal Civilian business for MorganFranklin’s Public Sector practice. Wendy works closely with government and industry stakeholders and partners to create, shape, and successfully deliver new opportunities to execute risk & compliance, business transformation, and technology services to advance the mission of the firm’s clients.

Ashish Patel brings over 20 years of experience in e-Commerce and mobile banking platforms at Bank of America and other Fortune 500 companies. After serving as a technology lead at MorganFranklin for the last 4 years with a focus on banks and financial services, he will now expand the firm’s CIO advisory practice and develop solution areas in IT strategy, digital transformation, and financial technology.
