ConstructConnect and the American Institute of Architects (AIA) to Present Groundbreaking Study at the Conference on Architecture
CINCINNATI, OH (PRWEB) April 26, 2017 -- ConstructConnect, a leading provider of construction information and technology solutions in North America, will host two major presentations at the AIA Conference on Architecture. The first, entitled The Architect’s Journey to Specification is a landmark study which offers unprecedented insights into the architect’s role in product specification and was jointly produced by ConstructConnect and the AIA. The seminar will be led by the study’s author Nik Werk, senior research manager at B2B International, and will take place on Thursday, April 27 at 11:00 AM at the ConstructConnect booth (#2531) in the Orange County Convention Center.
“This study offers tremendous insights into the architect’s role in specification – their preferences, habits, and process for selecting building products,” said Laura Marlow, ConstructConnect vice president of strategic partnerships. “ConstructConnect is proud to partner with the AIA in sharing this knowledge with the industry.”
A free copy of the study (valued at $2,000) will be given away immediately after the presentation.
The second presentation is an economic talk given by Alex Carrick, chief economist for ConstructConnect which entails a review of the first half of 2017, and an outlook for the remainder of the year. Mr. Carrick will discuss various industry reports, as well as answer questions at the end of his presentation, scheduled for Thursday, April 27 at 2:15 PM at the ConstructConnect booth (#2531).
“The period of recovery and expansion in the U.S. economy since the Great Recession is rapidly approaching 100 months, which is long relative to most previous cyclical improvements. And stock market indices have been recording extraordinary gains,” said Carrick. “Some analysts are questioning how much further out the good times can be extended. While I recognize that various dangers lurk along the route ahead, I also have three strong reasons, which I will enumerate for delegates to the AIA Conference in Orlando, for believing there is a great deal more positive potential for U.S. output growth.”
