New culinary food experience gives guests a ‘taste’ of Toronto

Paddling through the Toronto Islands

Whether it's paddling through the Toronto islands, discovering a neighbourhood’s hidden gems, or chatting with restaurant owners about locally sourced products, a new culinary program at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto allows guests to eat their way through Canada's most dynamic city.

Curated for guests of The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto by Culinary Adventure Co., the Off the Eaten Track program is a customized series of culinary tours that provide participants with exclusive access to Toronto’s eclectic food scene.

Starting this month, Off the Eaten Track will feature four different program components including:

Epic Edibles
Immersive, interactive experiences that take guests on a one-of-a-kind culinary journey through the city, such as paddling Toronto’s Islands in a heritage voyageur canoe, or foraging for mushrooms with local experts.

Urban Food Safari
The ultimate ‘black box’ experience. After exploring the city in search of mystery ingredients, guests return to (TOCA) the Ritz-Carlton, Toronto to watch as the hotel’s culinary team transforms their bounty into a custom-made meal.

Walking Food Tours
Personally-guided food tours, that introduce guests to the iconic shops, restaurants and multicultural neighbourhoods that make Toronto’s food scene so authentic.

Meet & Eat
An intimate series of evenings that allow guests to ‘break bread’ with Toronto’s culinary elite in their restaurants, shops, bakeries, butcher shops and artisan food operations.
