Telecom's sales acceleration leader is now expanding to a full ERP solution

Salestream Software, Inc. (, of Corona, CA announced it has signed a formal ‘agreement in principle’ to acquire mTusker Inc. of Denver, CO (

mTusker Inc. is an emerging provider of Cloud-based, Software as a Service (SaaS) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions for telecommunications industry providers, agencies and the broader small and medium business (SMB) market. mTusker’s comprehensive ERP software is ideally positioned to serve the upper tier of the small and the lower tier of the mid-sized business market; an underserved segment.

mTusker’s ERP suite of products significantly expands the functionality, scalability and value proposition of Salestream’s widely-adopted MasterStream™ product suite and the Salestream eco system of providers, managed service providers (MSP’s), master agents and agents. MasterStreamTM is the leader in telecom sales productivity tools with CRM, complex quoting, order document automation, order tracking, and analytics modules, which complements mTusker’s CRM, commissions, inventory, project management and trouble ticket modules. The combined product offering will provide more than a dozen service modules today with several more planned for release this year. The Salestream/mTusker platform will also enable simple integration with 3rd party applications allowing the platform to accommodate customers’ ever-evolving needs.

“We saw tremendous alignment and synergies between our companies, culture, and products,” said Jon Zakin, President of Salestream Software. “By combining MasterStream’s sales productivity tools with the broad capabilities of the mTusker platform, our customers will enjoy the most feature-rich and compelling sales productivity platform and business management tools tailored to the converging telecom and IT market.”

The two companies announced their intent to merge on April 12th at this year’s annual Channel Partner’s Conference & Expo to an enthusiastic reception. “The response has been overwhelmingly positive, reinforcing our belief that there is tremendous opportunity in our target markets,” added Zakin.

“We recognized from early on in our exploration of the telecommunications channel market that Salestream was a critical software provider for the telecommunications industry and its channel partners,” said Roger Toennis, CEO of mTusker. Toennis also added, “The more we explored the technology, market and team synergies, the more we saw what a powerful combination these two companies could be. We view this combination as that rare situation when two companies combine forces to deliver a ‘1+1= 11’ outcome for our current and future customers.”

The transaction is expected to close in July, 2017.
