Greenberg Traurig’s Jennifer Gray to Speak at Mortgage Bankers Association Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance Conference

Gray, co-chair of the Consumer Financial Services Litigation Practice at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will be speaking at the 2017 Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) Legal Issues & Regulatory Compliance (LIRC) Conference. This four-day event will take place May 7-10, 2017, at the InterContinental Miami.
Gray will be presenting on the panel “Litigation Forum: TILA, RESPA, ECOA, FHA,” taking place at 1p.m., Sunday, May 7. This panel of litigators will examine the latest activity around the Truth-in-Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), and fair lending, including recent cases heard by the Supreme Court, U.S. Courts of Appeal, and other courts affecting the industry.
Gray represents banks, credit unions, mortgage lenders and servicers, Fintech companies, and other financial institutions in consumer finance litigation, including class actions arising under including FCRA, FDCPA, RESPA, TILA, EFTA, ECOA, TCPA, and other federal and state consumer protection statutes. She also counsels clients on consumer finance regulatory and compliance issues. She currently serves as an editor of Greenberg Traurig’s Financial Services Observer blog and is a frequent speaker and writer on consumer finance topics.
