Lynxspring to Demonstrate Real Edge-to-Enterprise and IoT Solutions at Haystack Connect 2017
Lee's Summit, Missouri (PRWEB) May 01, 2017 -- Lynxspring, Inc. (http://www.lynxspring.com), a premier developer and provider of open, IoT solutions for intelligent buildings, energy management, and device-to-enterprise integration today announced they will be demonstrating their latest edge-to-enterprise and IoT solutions at Haystack Connect 2017. The biennial Conference of the Project Haystack Organization is being held this year at the Saddlebrook Resort Tampa, May 8 through May 10, 2017. These solutions will be demonstrated in Lynxspring’s Booth # E11. Lynxspring is a founding member and holds a seat on the Board of Directors of Project Haystack, and is a Sponsor of the Haystack Connect 2017 Conference.
Lynxspring will be demonstrating their new JENEsys® Edge™ 534 IoT Controller, based on the Niagara Framework®, and two versions of their recently released Onyxx® Xm 34io which can be configured to add additional IOs to their JENEsys® Edge™ 534 and JENEsys® Edge™ 100 Controllers, their JENEsys® PC8000 Controller and other third-party BACnet Controllers. Lynxspring will also be demonstrating their Onyxx® CE311 Cellular Data Router and, making its debut at Haystack Connect, will be the new 1.2 Release of the Onyxx® BH311 BACnet to Haystack Data Pump. The features of the new release include added SSL support for connecting to Connexx Energy’s Connexxion® Platform and SkyFoundry’s SkySpark® Analytics software, along with Authentication for SkySpark® 3.0. And, now SSL can be configured at the server level through Lynxspring’s Data Pump. Lynxspring’s hardware platforms are providing real edge connectivity, interoperability, data access and analytics for today's intelligent buildings, energy management, machine-to-machine applications in IoT environments. Lynxspring has developed these product solutions with open software and embedded hardware, designed to provide maximum performance, powerful processing and control at minimum cost to customers.
“We have been an avid supporter of the Project Haystack methodology which is making data describable and easier to manage from the edge to the enterprise in our world of such widely diverse hardware and software platforms,” said Marc Petock, Chief Communications Officer and Vice President, Marketing of Lynxspring. “Tagging and modeling of data is now a major requirement within the building and IoT environments, and the work the Project Haystack community is contributing to our ability to have a markup language for data, is filling this gap.”
The Haystack Connect Conference consists of 3 days of Keynote Speakers, 5 Technical Sessions Tracks of educational and real case-use presentations by industry leaders from the private sector, government and standards committees, a Project Haystack Organization Working Meeting, and technical demonstrations throughout the Vendor Showcase in an intimate business networking environment. Mr. Petock will be presenting on Tuesday, May 9th, “Project Haystack and the End User – How Owners Benefit from Project Haystack”, and moderating a panel discussion on Wednesday, May 10th “Engineers and End Users on Tagging” with a line-up of panelists from Altura Associates, Constellation, the DLR Group and Intelligent Buildings.
The Haystack Connect Conferences are produced by the Project Haystack Organization, a 501(c) non-profit industry association. The Project Haystack members and supporting companies have developed a standardized approach to semantic tagging to describe the meaning of device data. This allows software applications to automatically consume, interpret, analyze and present data from smart devices, smart equipment and systems for IoT. Support materials include detailed documentation describing data modeling techniques, significant libraries of equipment models, and software reference implementations, allowing software applications to easily consume smart device data that is marked up with the “Haystack Tags”.
