MES Inc. Opens Office in Poland

MES has opened a new office in Zielona Gora, Poland. Poland has been one of the fastest growing economies in the EU in recent years.

MES Inc., the leading North American company specializing in global sourcing and supply chain management for the lighting, automotive, industrial and heavy machinery manufacturing, and electronics industries, recently opened a new office in Zielona Gora, in the Lubuskie District of Poland. The goal is to accommodate the rapid growth MES Inc. has seen in projects originating in Europe while leveraging the area’s diversified industrial activity.

Hiten Shah, President of MES Inc., said: “The decision to expand our presence in Europe comes as a logical step in our business growth strategy and complements very well our existing activities in North America and Asia.”

Poland has been one of the fastest developing economies in the EU in recent years. The automotive industry, which alone represents over 11% of the Polish economy, attracted massive foreign investment in the past decade. Many OEMs and tier 1 and 2 suppliers chose Poland as a manufacturing location. In 2016, Poland ranked in the World Bank Ease of Doing Business, number 1 for trading across borders. Its main trading partner is Germany and the main commodities imported/exported are vehicle parts.
