AvePoint Positions Itself for Accelerated Growth with New Additions and Updates to Executive Leadership Team

The additions of a new Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Financial Officer, along with updated responsibilities for existing leadership, are designed to accelerate business growth while ensuring continued success across the company’s sales, finance, marketing, product strategy, and technical organizations.

New Additions to AvePoint’s Executive Leadership
In order to continue to maximize its revenue growth, meet customer demands, and maintain efficient operations across the business, AvePoint announced two new additions to its executive leadership team.
Christopher Larsen has joined AvePoint as Chief Revenue Officer. Larsen comes to AvePoint with more than 20 years of experience in the enterprise software industry – with extensive sales leadership skills, industry go-to-market expertise, and a focus on continual customer value creation. His previous role was Chief Revenue Officer of Model N, a leading global software provider of cloud-based revenue management solutions to life sciences, high tech, and manufacturing companies, where he led the successful transformation from the on-premises to cloud-based SaaS model. He has also held senior leadership positions with SAP, TIBCO, and Infragistics. Larsen will lead AvePoint’s global sales organization, delivering solutions to the global marketplace that help customers migrate, manage, and protect Office 365 and SharePoint data.

Anthony Branca has also joined AvePoint as Chief Financial Officer. Branca has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the fields of finance and accounting for global businesses. Prior to AvePoint, Branca was the VP of Strategic Initiatives at AppNexus, an internet technology company that harnesses data and machine learning to power open digital audience platforms. Anthony was also previously the CFO of ICON Investments Corp. and has held roles at Nielson Corporation, Fortune Brands, and KPMG. Branca will lead AvePoint’s global finance team, maintaining efficiency of operational processes across the business as the company grows worldwide.

Updates to Existing Executive Leadership Roles
To ensure continued focus and strong leadership across core areas of its business, AvePoint also announced updates in responsibilities for several members of its executive team:
• Dux Raymond Sy will now serve as Chief Marketing Officer and AvePoint Public Sector Chief Technology Officer. Since taking the lead of AvePoint’s marketing organization in 2016, Sy has worked with the team to drive demand and brand awareness, in addition to educating the market on the latest Microsoft Cloud innovations with thought leadership content. Sy will focus his efforts on AvePoint marketing globally, while continuing to oversee the company’s public sector solutions.
• Wei Chen will now serve as Chief Service Delivery Officer. An integral part of AvePoint’s technical organization for nearly 10 years, Chen most recently led the company’s global technical services team. In his new role, Chen will oversee the AvePoint Client Services (ACS) Pursuit and Delivery teams – leading service engagements for AvePoint’s global customers, with a focus on Office 365 and SharePoint migration.
• Mario Carvajal, Chief Technology Officer of North America, will focus on leading AvePoint’s product strategy initiatives as well as overseeing the global AvePoint Technical Services (ATS) organization. Carvajal and his teams will continue to evolve and position AvePoint’s product portfolio to anticipate and satisfy customer needs as well as align with global market trends.
• Tom Lin, Corporate Vice President of Sales, will continue to lead AvePoint’s North America mid-market sales, UK sales, global lead qualification, and global maintenance renewal teams. In addition, Lin will now spearhead special new projects designed to expand AvePoint’s business into new markets.
