CV US Holdings Inc., wholly owned by Creative Virtual Ltd, today announced its acquisition of Open Water LLC dba Creative Virtual USA. Richard Simons will retire as chief executive officer of Creative Virtual USA on April 28th, 2017. The Board of Directors elected James M. Murphy as Creative Virtual USA’s next chief executive officer, effective April 29th, 2017. Murphy previously served as chief operating officer.
Simons has served as chief executive officer since founding Creative Virtual USA in November 2006. Under Simons’ leadership, Creative Virtual USA grew from start-up stage to become a leading provider of strategic automated solutions to a number of F500 enterprise North American clients.
Simons noted, “I’ve enjoyed building Creative Virtual USA alongside our dedicated employees into what it is today. As Mike steps in as CEO, I am confident that Creative Virtual USA will continue its growth trajectory as he, Frank Schneider, Paulo Barrett and the entire US team build on our strong foundation of client success.”

Murphy becomes chief executive officer of Creative Virtual USA after serving as chief operating officer since January 2017. Since joining, he has developed the Customer Success organization, responsible for assisting clients with executing on a digital-transformation strategy aimed at delivering intelligent self-service solutions to their employees and customers.
