The Cyprus-U.S. Chamber of Commerce Will Honor Mr. Nikos Mouyiaris, Founder and CEO of MANA Products with the Distinguished Merit Award

Mr. Mouyiaris will be the Recipient of the Chamber’s Distinguished Merit Award Gala dinner and ceremony will take place on Friday, June 16, 2017, at the Union League Club, New York City at the Union League Club, New York City.

The Cyprus-U.S. Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Mr. Nikos Mouyiaris, Founder and CEO of MANA Products, Inc., is the Chamber’s 2017 Distinguished Merit Award recipient.

Bestowed annually, the Award honors corporations and individuals who have raised the profile of Cyprus and made an extraordinary contribution in strengthening trade relations between Cyprus and the United States of America. The Cyprus-U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s tribute to Mr. Mouyiaris will include an Awards Dinner at the Union League Club, 38 East 37th Street, New York on Friday, June 16, 2017.

"We are very excited about the 2017 Awards Dinner event, and truly proud to have Nikos Mouyiaris as our 2017 Award recipient," said Mr. Nicolas Nicolaou, President of the Cyprus-U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Mouyiaris is an entrepreneur, innovator and philanthropist. He is the Founder and CEO of Mana Products, Inc., one of the world’s most prestigious cosmetics manufacturers and developers. Established in 1975 with a mere $6,000 that Nikos borrowed from his brother, today Mana employs over 1,000 people and is a partner to many of the world’s largest and most successful beauty brands.

A visionary business and community leader, Nikos believes the true measure of success lies in the ability to help others, so he is passionate in his support of many philanthropic and other endeavors. He is the Founder of the Hellenic American Leadership Council, a professional organization dedicated to the empowerment of the Greek community in the United States and eventually in every country where there is a Greek Diaspora. An organization committed to civic leadership and human rights, members of HALC are involved in the Greek Lobby in the United States.

Nikos is a Benefactor of the Malaika Foundation, helping to educate young girls in the Congo and a Benefactor of Paradise4Kids, helping to feed, educate and clothe hundreds of Ebola orphans in Sierra Leone. Nikos is also involved with many other organizations that make a difference in the world and has received many honors including the prestigious Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
