Providing Psychotherapy Services with a Specialization in Sex Therapy
Orlando, Florida (PRWEB) May 11, 2017 -- Dr. Arnaldo “Arny” Olivera II, Ph.D. announced today the opening of his private practice in Winter Park, Florida. Dr. Arny has a Doctoral degree in Clinical Sexology and specializes in treating people who have problems with the mental aspects of their sexuality. He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Florida and provides psychotherapy to couples, families, and individuals.
Dr. Arny employs the use of psychological methods to help people by training them to become more aware of their thinking patterns and how they relate to the way they communicate and feel. His goal is to help people who struggle from problems related to thinking.
He understands the nature of the mind and appreciates both its potential for health as much as its pitfalls. The mind can create problems such as: anxiety, depression, poor communication patterns, guilt, shame, and sexual dysfunction.
“My goal is to explore potential tools that people can use to better deal with symptoms present in their lives,” says Olivera. “I provide individuals with talk therapy in a safe and confidential setting where they can discuss topics that are personal with an unbiased and accepting ear. I believe that conversation can lead to potentially long-lasting change in how we think, feel, and behave.”
Dr. Arny is a trained professional in helping people find scientifically proven methods that can be tailored specifically to their problems with the goal to help them overcome their struggles.
“In this day and age with the access to such widespread information, people can get lost when looking for solutions to their problems,” he says. “It’s easy to obtain unproven and untested information through the many unchecked and unconfirmed resources found on the internet.”
Dr. Arny helps people explore potential solutions to their problems in an informed, specific, and constructive way. He doesn’t guarantee that change will occur the way that people want, but strives to continue to help people make those attempts to improve their own lives as they see and experience it.
