McCaffrey Homes Donates Furnishings from Model Homes to Support Catholic Charities of Fresno
(PRWEB) May 04, 2017 -- McCaffrey Homes, a local third-generation family homebuilder, is donating furniture and décor from their stunning model homes to Catholic Charities of Fresno. The furnishings come from their three model homes at the Gallery in Clovis, a sold-out community that will soon have its model homes for sale.
A vast array of beautiful furnishings will be donated for Catholic Charities to sell — including sofas, coffee tables, bedroom furniture, dining room tables and chairs, occasional chairs, lamps, bedding, accessories, artwork and more. The good-as-new items can be enjoyed by new owners for years to come.
“With over 60 years of homebuilding in the Central Valley, we understand the importance of giving back to the local community,” said Brent McCaffrey, president of McCaffrey Homes. “That’s why we’re pleased to donate this furniture to Catholic Charities to support the great work they do within our area. Catholic Charities is a safe harbor for those in need, providing our neighbors with food and clothing plus other valuable services.”
“McCaffrey Homes has a legacy of giving back to the community and we are grateful for this very generous donation,” said Kelly Lilles, executive director of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Fresno. “This is the third time McCaffrey has donated model home furniture, and we realize the value of this donation. We know the proceeds from the sale of these furnishings will have a big impact to help us support the vital programs and services that we deliver in the Fresno area.”
In addition to providing food and clothing to families in need, Catholic Charities has programs that assist families with everything from energy bills to career and job placement support. Catholic Charities has 140,000 clients and doesn’t turn anyone away, regardless of religion.
McCaffrey Homes previously donated model home furniture from its Liberty Square neighborhood in northwest Fresno and its Heights at Loma Vista neighborhood in Clovis to Catholic Charities.
