May 13, 2017 (2PM - 7PM) Crawfish for Cancer's NYC Boil has been growing every year selling out the Boat Basin with thousands of young philanthropists. This year PhotoSesh was brought on to capture the good times going towards good deeds among this event's who's who of the young NYC philanthropy crowd.

"We're really excited for where Crawfish is heading," says James Crowell - Founder & President of Crawfish for Cancer. "It all started with a want to do something to fight back against cancer and bring people together around the issue, and now we're coming up on our 10th year, have boils across the US, and we're about to hit the half a million donated mark."

Crawfish for Cancer has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to support Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. This year they'll be hosting their 9th Annual NYC Boil at the Boat Basin with all the crawfish goodness and open bar refreshments you can handle.

Crowell on CFC's initiative explains, "Our mission is to engage what we like to call the new generation of philanthropists, activating those young professionals across the country to care and give back now for a better future. And it's basically our job to make sure they have a great time while doing that."

PhotoSesh had this to say on participating in photography for such a worthy cause. "This is what we love doing. We get to capture photos of some great people, doing great things, having a great time, while enjoying some food, drink, and music at The Boat Basin. Plus all proceeds go to such a wonderful charity. Sign us up! We're glad to have connected with such a great organization. It's an extreme understatement to say that we are absolutely thrilled to play a role in Crawfish for Cancer's charitable mission and fits right into our corporate culture of giving back," says Christopher Seshadri, Co-Founder & CEO of PhotoSesh.

Crowell welcomes PhotoSesh to this year's 9th Annual NYC Boil saying, "A big part of engaging our community and growing these events is capturing the moment. The best way to understand Crawfish for Cancer is to go to an event, but the next best way is to look through the pictures. You'll see all the sunshine, good vibes, and thousands of smiling faces. That's why working with PhotoSesh is such a huge help--it takes that artistic eye and skill to really capture the essence of the events, letting our community relive the memories and showing others what we're all about."

About Crawfish for Cancer:
Started in 2008, Crawfish for Cancer (CFC Inc.) is dedicated to fundraising for multiple myeloma cancer research. By hosting events that cater to young professionals we are able to provide much needed funds in the fight against this currently incurable disease.

The passion for this cause is a result of the founder of CFC, Inc.’s father having had multiple myeloma. Lieutenant Colonel Lorenzo Mayo Crowell, USAF, Retired passed away as a result of multiple myeloma in March 2014.

The origins of CFC, Inc.’s signature event, the annual Crawfish Boil, began as a tradition at Williams College. The Founders and Board of Directors of CFC, Inc. are Williams alumni and have brought the Crawfish Boil that they started at Williams to New York City and the rest of country.

The Crawfish Boil at Williams began as a cultural event in the mind of some of the Southerners at Williams. CFC, Inc. has realized the popularity of the event among Yankees and decided to harness that popularity for a great cause, cancer research. https://www.crawfishforcancer.org/cause
