SuperOffice CRM Launches Gmail Link App - Supporting the 1 Billion Users Who Prefer Gmail to Send and Receive Email
Oslo, Norway (PRWEB) May 04, 2017 -- SuperOffice, Europe’s leading Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software provider today announced its launch of the Gmail Link app. The Gmail Link is a browser extension that allows SuperOffice users to connect their Gmail account to their SuperOffice CRM solution. The Gmail Link works perfectly for companies using Gmail in combination with SuperOffice on a Windows PC or Mac or in combination with G-Suite from Google.
Markets and preferences change, including which email service individuals and businesses prefer to use. Where Microsoft Exchange with Outlook and Lotus Notes were the de-facto email systems for companies in the past, Gmail has increasingly become a contender in the business market.
Today, Gmail has over 1 billion active users* and as many as 5 million businesses on the service.
“Offering flexibility and making your working day simpler and more productive has always been the cornerstone of our business, “ Gisle Jentoft, CEO of SuperOffice says, “so letting our customers use their preferred email client instead of forcing them to choose is important to us.” he continues.
The Gmail Link app from SuperOffice allows users to easily store their emails directly into their central CRM database so that all customer information and conversations are kept in one place. Previous to this app, there was no way to link the two systems together.
Guttorm Nielsen, CPO, explains” We know that a big part of the customer dialogue is via email, particularly in the business to business market. Making email communication available in your central CRM database contributes hugely to achieving the full overview of customer relationships. Our aim is to make it easy for each and every person to store important customer mail so that it is available for everyone in the company who needs it.”
Similar to the existing mail-links for Outlook and Lotus Notes from SuperOffice, the Gmail Link allows a user to archive an incoming email or an attachment straight into the central SuperOffice CRM database.
Users can store incoming and outgoing emails, store attachments as documents, turn an email into a follow-up in their calendar or create a support ticket in SuperOffice Service. These features help the user manage their inbox as well as improve their daily work flow.
In addition, new email addresses can easily be added from Gmail into the SuperOffice customer database, which makes it easy to build CRM data and improve its quality.
Currently the Gmail Link works with Chrome and Firefox in SuperOffice’s cloud solution; SuperOffice CRM Online. Later this year, Gmail link will also work with Microsoft Edge and SuperOffice CRM onsite.
Gmail Link is available now as a download from the SuperOffice App Store and the Chrome Web Store.
