New E-Signatures and Maintenance Request Report Features Help Landlords Streamline Payment Process and Maximize Tax Incentives

New data from TenantCloud shows the number of single-family homes occupied by renters has increased sharply. In fact, in the past five years, it is estimated to have reached nearly 16M in the U.S. alone. TenantCloud, the premier cloud-based property management solution, today announced record growth including a 140 percent increase in users in just two quarters and the addition of 250,000 properties managed on its system. TenantCloud’s newest features include the ability to create customizable template leases that can be sent to tenants for e-signatures, along with a robust Maintenance Request feature that allows landlords to make payments to owners and service pros, while also tracking requests in Maintenance Reports to make it easier for tax return purposes. TenantCloud research shows that on average, a single family unit requires roughly $2,460 in maintenance costs, and the tax savings for maintenance request write-offs is about $1,337, so it pays for landlords to leverage a platform that keeps it in sync.
