Clough and Associates, dba mPower Advisors, recently became an approved training provider for the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund. The Workforce Training Fund approved an initial 6 programs from mPower Advisors, providing an opportunity for small businesses to be reimbursed for 50% of the cost of the training up to $30,000, or 100% of the cost up to $250,000 pending grant approval.
Of the company’s recent certification, mPower Advisors owner Dave Clough said, “A well-trained employee is educated enough to be able to handle delegation, knowledgeable enough to get the tasks done, and is someone you can count on. They want to be trained, too - they feel more effective at work, and feel like they are growing in their career. More knowledge and training leads to fewer mistakes, higher efficiency and more profits, allowing the company to grow and create more jobs.”
These grants are funded through Massachusetts state payroll deductions to help defray the cost of training. Companies receive training from a qualified expert on specific topics. The current topics offered by mPower Advisors include:
