{SAW} Software Mill today announced the general availability of its Sage X3 Construction solution for the North America market during this week’s Sage Summit user conference in Atlanta. Sage X3 Construction delivers a complete and modern construction lifecycle management solution, natively built on the Sage X3 ERP platform which has over 5,000 customers worldwide.

{SAW} Software Mill is a global Sage ISV partner, and publisher of the Sage X3 Construction solution. Specialized in developing industry-specific business applications, the {SAW} Software Mill team brings deep commercial construction management experience, which includes some of the largest vertical and horizontal construction projects in the world.

“We are thrilled to continue our journey in bringing a world class, mobile-first, and robust capital project management offering to the global market that mid-to-larger construction firms can rely on to gain better control over their projects,” said Chris Wiener, CEO of {SAW} Software Mill. “Our team has worked tirelessly in collaboration with the Sage development team to harness the power of the Sage X3 platform to close the common gaps between legacy PLMs and ERP systems. This includes delivering much more granular and up-to-date project data that project managers need to reduce risks and cost overruns.”

Sage X3 Construction is a new module natively built on the core Sage X3 platform, which has over 5,000 customers around the globe, including the U.S. and Canada. The solution extends the Sage X3 ERP applications portfolio, which addresses the midsize to larger enterprise market, including those firms that operate in multiple countries, currencies, and business entities.

“Sage X3 Construction is a welcome addition to the rich and long history Sage has had in the North America real estate and construction market, dating back over thirty years,” said Ed Ledgerwood, CEO of Ledgerwood Associates, a certified Sage reseller partner. “The team at {Saw} Software Mill understands construction, and this new module will enable us to address the needs of larger, more complex construction firms. It also provides those existing Sage 300 CRE (formerly Timberline) customers that are ready for an enterprise application like X3, with a clear migration path to stay within the Sage family as they continue to grow.”

Sage X3 Construction offers the following core construction management capabilities:

  • Estimating management
  • Contract and document management
  • Construction and change control management
  • Project WBS visualization
  • Job costing and financial management
  • Timesheet and labor management
  • Treasury and cash flow management
